Teen Driver Education

Driving Schools

Don’t compare

DrivingMBA is an investment in your teen’s safety – now and for the rest of their lives

What is your child’s safety worth to you?

We don’t ask this question rhetorically, we truly believe that advanced teen driver education saves teen lives and prevents life long injuries. As parents we all want the best for our kids and we invest in their education, their sports, their extra curricular actives so why would we not invest in training for their most dangerous activity?

At DrivingMBA we prepare teen drivers for the realities of the road. Our comprehensive teen driver education programs have three major components that make up the curriculum: Classroom, Simulation and On-Road. Each of these components builds on the other, so students start with the fundamentals then build their skills and knowledge to become more advanced, responsible, defensive drivers. Think of DrivingMBA as a “Masters Degree” in driver education.

Our Teen Driver Education Process

01. Classroom Instruction

DrivingMBA’s teen driver training program is the only teen driving course in the United States that combines classroom, coached simulation and on-road instruction. Classroom instruction covers the fundamentals of driving and helps students understand the magnitude of responsibility they take on when they operate a motor vehicle. Our classroom model is interactive and engages students in answering questions and conducting demonstrations.

02. Driving Fundamentals Simulator Labs

DrivingMBA’s state-of-the-art technology provides realistic, hands-on training in different “real world” driving scenarios. Teens learn the “rules of the road” like interaction with traffic, learning to recognize and respond to traffic signs and signals in realistic, high-density traffic situations. Once students complete the Driving Fundamentals Simulation Lab, they are ready to begin their on-road instruction.

03. On Road Instruction

On road instruction is where the skills that students develop in the simulation labs are put to the test on the road in the real world. Students are trained on sound judgment and decision making, while operating the vehicle in a variety of environments and traffic conditions. Students learn how to maneuver and safely navigate roundabouts, left turns, freeway on and off ramps. They also learn how to idenify potential hazards, avoid dangerous situations, and mitigate risks to themselves and others.

04. Defensive Driving

This program is for licensed drivers or novice drivers with a minimum of 25 to 30 hours of on-road experience, and who are comfortable driving on major surface streets and freeways. Our Defensive Driving program provides students with “what-if” scenarios and situations such as: head on collision avoidance, tire blow outs, serious weather conditions, and distracted driving. These life saving skills can’t be safely taught on the road, in a skid car or on a closed course.

I loved taking this driver training class because it not only taught me the basics of driving but also prepared me to be a safe and cautious driver no matter what. Thank you Driving MBA for teaching me to be an alert and considerate driver.
