I know that some consider DrivingMBA “expensive” when you compare DrivingMBA to other schools. Yet when you look at the amount of education and training a student receives in our packages, the hourly rate is less than what you would pay for tutoring. All of DrivingMBA’s instruction is either private or semi-private which in effect is tutoring.
Last week I posted something I found about “cost” and what we are and are not willing to spend money on. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of feedback we received on that post. Click here to read the post and the comments. If you are considering DrivingMBA as a driving school for your teenager, I would encourage you to closely compare DrivingMBA to other schools. We recently did a comparison of what other schools offer and what DrivingMBA offers. Click this link: Driving School Comparison.
Also consider how pilots learn to fly a plane. Do you think you’ve ever been on a flight where a pilot hasn’t spent a considerable amount of time in a simulator learning how to navigate that plane? The use of simulation to teach driving skills is the same principle. A novice driver can learn all of the basics of driving in a safe and controlled environment before they get on the real road and the skills they learn on our defensive driving simulator, cannot be taught anywhere else. Even closed course or skid cars cannot put a student in the situations we can. Imagine having a vehicle coming at you head on, what would you do? We put our students in all types of situations and teach them how to recognize and avoid hazards and how to safely maneuver out of them.
Consider the cost of a collision, making sure your teenager is well trained can save you money in the long run. Car crashes remain the #1 killer of teenagers and thousands more are injured every year. Isn’t doing all you can to make sure your child is well prepared to be on the roadways worth the time, effort and money?
