If your student is testing at the MVD there is an option now to schedule an appointment through Service Arizona. There is also an option to apply for a voluntary travel identification. Click here for more information.
If a student is registered for a teen driver packages that includes 10 hours or more of on-road lessons, the student is eligible to receive a waiver to waive the test at the MVD. The student must pass DrivingMBA’s evaluation and a parent must attend the parent class for a student to be eligible. Remember there is a possibility that any student can be randomly selected to test at the MVD so be sure your student is prepared for that possibility, they are comfortable in the vehicle you are driving and they know how to park that vehicle.
Another change that has happened is that if a student does not pass either the written or skills test at the MVD, they no longer have to wait the 7 day waiting period to return and retest.
