I have written about the dangers of texting and driving many times. Those of you that know me, know I am, what some would say is, ” a little over the top” about the topic. You also know that DrivingMBA is a no cell phone zone to help get the message to students AND parents that the device is NOT an extension of your hands and you CAN live without it for a few hours!!

A recent ruling in Massachusetts made national news because the judge is sending a teenager to jail because of texting and driving and causing a fatality.

I happen to agree with the judge. When you make the choice to use your cell phone while driving, you put innocent people at risk and if that choice causes harm – then you need to deal with the consequences. Click here for the story.
