Above is an info graphic published by AAA that provides insight into the types of distractions that cause teenage car crashes.  Unless we talk to our kids about the dangers of distracted driving and MORE importantly, role-model appropriate behavior while driving, teens will continue to make poor choices behind the wheel.  The ONLY way to teach the dangers of distracted driving is by putting them in dangerous situations.  We can’t do that on the road, but we can do it on a driving simulator and they learn very quickly that they can’t be distracted and successfully maneuver their way out of a dangerous situation.
