Mom Explains Why She Sent Both of Her Kids to DrivingMBA

We often get “you’re so expensive,” from prospective customers. Yes, we do cost more than other driving schools if you compare us dollar for dollar. However, if you look closely you are comparing apples to oranges. We offer a much more comprehensive approach to driver training than any other school.

We have two full time Specialists on staff that are responsible for overseeing our exceptional learners program and to stay on top of research. DrivingMBA has worked hard to continuously improve our curriculum to ensure what we are teaching is up-to-date and always science-based. If you are of the belief that “driving is easy” and teaching someone to drive is easy, then we won’t be the school for you.

As the AAA Foundation study cited above found, parents are putting their teens on the road before they are actually ready to be out there. We believe that part of the reason for that is parents are not well educated about the topic of teen driving. Car crashes remain the #1 killer of our youth, more than suicide and homicide and both of those have seen drastic increases in numbers.

That is why our parental component at DrivingMBA is such a big part of our process. We can offer the very best training available, but if a student does not get the necessary practice they will not develop the skill-base really required to be a solo driver on today’s roadways. The question we want parents to ask is: “What is providing your teenager the very best chance to be safe on the roadways worth to you?” If you believe that “getting into a collision” is just part of the process, I would argue that that is not the case. If we work together we can, at the very least, push the odds in their favor.
