We have completed 2 of our 3 parking clinic pilots. The feedback from students is that the clinic was very helpful in developing their parking skills. Our final pilot is scheduled for the end of this month and is currently full, but we will continue to offer the clinics once a month either at our Scottsdale or Chandler location. If your student needs help with parking be sure to sign up for a clinic. Parking should not be a skill a student works on early in the process. They need to have their basic skills in good shape. We recommend signing up for a clinic after their 2nd or 3rd on road lesson. Parking is sometimes the cause of a student not passing the MVD test as they tend to put more emphasis on parking than other skills. Click here to learn more about DrivingMBA’s clinics.
LAST CHANCE for Birdies for Charity
The holidays are behind us and preparations are in full swing for the Waste Management Phoenix Open. There is still time to help the Red Means Stop Traffic Safety Alliance by participating in Birdies for Charity. You can help us raise funds by making a pledge. Charities receive every penny of collected pledges plus the Thunderbirds add an additional 10% to money collected. We have participated in this event for the past several years and we are trying to raise $10,000 this year, so every penny counts. Help us raise funds to provide scholarships for students in need and to continue our work in educating the public about traffic safety issues. Please consider this fun and easy way to help us raise money for this important cause. Click here to make your pledge today!
