The Rules of the Road Permit Class is offered to assist students in developing a sound understanding of the Rules of the Road. It is a 4 hour class that is offered as preparation for the written test or as part of DrivingMBA’s DRIVE Certification TEST package where a student is eligible for a waiver to waive the written test at the MVD. This class is only one of several requirements a student must complete in order for the waiver to be issued. The written test can also be taken at home with Permit Test @Home. Click here to learn more about this program. This program is only available to students between the age of 15 1/2 and 18 years of age. Anyone over the age of 18 can take the test at the MVD or go through DrivingMBA’s DRIVE Certification TEST package to obtain a waiver to waive the test at the MVD.
The DrivingMBA Rules of the Road Permit class is designed to provide novice drivers with:
- a review of the rules of the road
- a comprehensive evaluation of their knowledge
A teenager is eligible for their permit at the age of 15 years and 6 months in the state of Arizona. Any teenager under the age of 18 must obtain a permit and hold it for a minimum of 6 months before they are eligible for their licensing. Even if a new driver is 18 years or older, we recommend getting a permit, receiving training and practicing driving for a minimum of 6 months before obtaining their license.
